Data controller 

For the purposes of the Data Protection Laws, the data controllers of your personal information are Glack Hill Adventure Ltd, Eventbrite (Ticket provider/seller - Eventbrite privacy policy), and Wix.com (website provider and Marketing email provider - Wix privacy policy). Facebook are also data controllers of any data gathered via Facebook ads generated by the event's Facebook page.

 

 

What type of information do we collect

We receive, collect and store any information you enter on our website (contact form) or provide us in any other way (information collected when purchasing event tickets on Eventbrite). In addition, we collect the Internet protocol (IP) address. We may use software tools to measure and collect session information, including page response times, length of visits to certain pages, page interaction information, and methods used to browse away from the page. For information on how Wix handles your data, please review sections 8, 12, and 13 of Wix's Privacy Policy. Facebook ads collect data - visible to Glack Attack are the likes and shares for the ad post only.

 

 

How do we collect it

Information is collected when:

  • You enter details in the website’s contact form

  • Visiting the website (IP address)

  • You purchase tickets on the Eventbrite ticket booking

  • You interact with a Glack Attack Facebook ad

Your personal information will be used for the specific reasons stated above only.

Why do we collect it

We collect such Non-personal and Personal Information for the following purposes:

  1. To provide and operate the Services (Event ticket registration and event related information);

  2. To provide our Users with ongoing customer assistance;

  3. To be able to contact our Visitors and Users with general or personalized service-related notices and promotional messages;

  4. To create aggregated statistical data and other aggregated and/or inferred Non-personal Information, which we or our business partners may use to provide and improve our respective services; 

  5. To comply with any applicable laws and regulations.

How do we store, use, share and disclose your information

The Glack Trail and Glack Attack website is hosted on the Wix.com platform. Wix.com provides us with the online platform that allows us to promote our events to you. Your data may be stored through Wix.com’s data storage, databases and the general Wix.com applications. They store your data on secure servers behind a firewall. 

For information collected on Eventbrite when an event ticket is purchased, Eventbrite will be the data controller over the personal data provided to Eventbrite directly by consumers. For those who opt in to receiving marketing emails when registering on Eventbrite, email addresses only will be transferred to Wix.com email tool (Wix Shoutout) – as per above, this data will be stored on secure servers behind a firewall.

Glack Hill Adventure Ltd. will not share or disclosure your information to any third party; or use the information for any other means than event communication and marketing emails (for customers who consent).

Glack Hill Adventure Ltd. uses Facebook ad data (names of those who like, comment and share the ad post) purely for selecting a competition winner. The data is not pulled and used for any other promotional purposes. If they subsequently like the Glack Attack Facebook page, then they will receive future posts as is normal Facebook practice.

 

How long is your personal information kept

Your personal information will be held for no longer than is reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was obtained. We will carry out periodic reviews of the personal information that we hold about you to ensure that this is the case.

 

How do we communicate with you

We may contact you to notify you regarding your event ticket, the event, to send updates about our company, and to market future events. For the majority of cases, we will communicate by email only. In rare circumstances, we may contact you via telephone, text messages, and postal mail.
